In a unexpected crossover event that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the authorized announcement, "A strange meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of banned ceremonies and monstrous transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.

The adventure centers on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Bonus Features

Players who finish the mission will acquire an special katana in addition to multiple items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
